Web Hosting Services

10.1. Virtual Tenants do not have access to hosting settings (ex. cPanel). Virtual Tenants may request to make changes to hosting settings associated with Rented/Leased Virtual Property. These requested changes must be approved by Website Rental Services before processing.

SSL Security Services

10.2. All Virtual Rental/Lease Properties include "Shared" SSL Certificate Hosting. A green or gray padlock icon is displayed in the address bar at the top, left corner of the web page.

10.3. SSL or Secure Certificates provide online security for your Virtual Rental/Lease Property by encrypting communications between GriotSites Web Hosting & Designing firm's server space and those visiting your rented/leased Virtual Property.

10.4. SSL Certificates are security systems or "virtual security guards" that manage data between your Site Visitors and your Virtual Rental/Lease Property.

What is a Shared SSL?

10.5. Virtual Rental Tenants share an SSL Certificate that’s installed on the same IP Address located at NS1.GRIOTINTERNATIONALLLC.COM that facilitates a shared hosting environment.

10.6. A "Shared SSL Certificate" is installed on your registered Domain Name or URL for your Virtual Rental/Lease Property during the "Setup" process.

10.7. Private SSL Certificates are available for installation on Lease and Rent-to-Own Virtual Properties only.

Web Security Agreement

10.8. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand that "Shared Certificates" may include your URL in registrant's details, but it may include the URL of your hosting provider GriotSites Web Hosting & Designs.

10.9. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand that you do not have ownership or control over a "Shared Certificate".

10.10. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand "Shared Certificates" CANNOT be transferred or moved to a different Web Hosting platform.

10.11. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand that is the responsibility of Website Rental Services to monitor and update all "Shared Certificates".

10.12. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand that "Shared Certificates" do not carry any warranties or insurances under any circumstances. Only Private (premium) SSL Certificates carry this insurance.

10.13. You, the Virtual Tenant, acknowledge and understand that Web Security issues should be reported immediately by submitting an Emergency WIP Ticket.
